between 12-13 December, 2019.

Procedure for Participating
Participating in the GCONSM'19 event, entails a four step sequential process:
(1) Submit an abstract or full paper
(2) Receive review and presentation-eligibility decision (within 4 days of submission)
(3) Register for the conference
(4) Submit final version of Full Papers: Authors of reviewed and accepted papers who wish to have them published in our SSCI or ESCI SCOPUS indexed journals will need to submit the final formatted manuscript (effecting all corrections suggested by the reviewers as at when due)

All accepted papers will be published in the official GCONSM 2019 conference proceedings and submitted for indexation in the Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI).

Certification Opportunities
Participants who register for the add-on methodology training workshops: Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for Management Research will receive official proficiency certification issued by AARESOC.

Awards
Participants at this year's GCONSM'19 are eligible to be considered for our Peter Drucker Emerging Scholar Award, AARESOC Best Paper Award and AARESOC Best Doctoral Paper Award.

Peter Drucker Emerging Scholar Award
The typical recipient of this award is the candidate with a research and academic portfolio indicative of a potential for fundamental impact on managerial thought and practice geared toward the success of organizations. Special consideration is given to interdisciplinary contributions which strengthen existing management theories especially from the arts and sciences domain. Only members of AARESOC are eligible to be nominated for this award. The potential winner of this award will typically
- have 4 - 7 years of active academic experience from the date of completion
of his/her dissertation.
- have a publication and other professional activity record with clear evidence
of significant impact on the field of management.
The winner of this year's award will be recognized at an exclusive event during the opening ceremony of the GCONSM'19 event. He/she will be awarded a significant cash prize, a plaque, a free lifetime membership of AARESOC, and a free lifetime pass to all GCONSM events.

AARESOC Best Paper Award
All participants from the academia at this year's GCONSM'19 are eligible to be nominated for this award. A review committee will both nominate and determine the winner of this award. Nominees and the award winner will be announced at the ICOBM'18 closing ceremony. The award winner will be recognized and presented with a plaque and cash prize at the ceremony.

AARESOC Best Doctoral Paper Award
All doctoral student participants at this year's GCONSM'19 are eligible to be nominated for this award. A review committee will both nominate and determine the winner. Nominees and the award winner will be announced at the ICOBM'18 closing ceremony. The award winner will be recognized and presented with a plaque and cash prize at the ceremony. Workshops
Two add-on and optional online workshops will be held immediately after the main GCONSM'19 event. Details of this year's workshops are presented below:

Structural Equation Modeling for Management Research
Date: 17-19 December, 2019
This is a practical workshop on the deployment of the structural equation modeling (SEM) technique (based on IBM's AMOS program) in management research. This three--day practical workshop will be held from 10am-5pm daily on a platform powered by Thinkific and Zoom (Acess to the platform will be provided upon registration).Participants who successfully complete the workshop will be presented with an AARESOC certified certificate of completion and proficiency.
Fuzzy Sets Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA)
Date: 20-22 December, 2019
This is also a practical workshop on the application of the Fuzzy Sets Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) approach (using Ragin's fsQCA program) in management research. This three--day workshop will also be held from 10am-5pm daily on a similar platform (for which acess to the platform will also be provided upon registration). Similarly, participants who successfully complete the workshop will be presented with an AARESOC certified certificate of completion and proficiency.

Directions
The GCONSM'19 event will be held in the Van der Goot building (also known as the 'M' building) on the Erasmus University Woudestein Campus. Participants from European countries can travel to Erasmus University Rotterdam via train and by air (through the Rotterdam The Hague Airport).
However all non- European participants traveling to the Netherlands would normally travel by air through Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS). Once in the Netherlands, Rotterdam and Erasmus University can be accessed via, train, bus, taxi, rental car and rideshare. While participants are free to make their own lodging and accommodation arrangements; for convenience and ease of coordination during the conference, we recommend that participants stay at Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark Hotel because it is only a 5 minutes walking distance from Erasmus University, and 8 minutes away from Rotterdam city center using the Metro. Participants who prefer to stay in more affordable accommodation can review a list of HOSTELS and AIRBNB Homes near Erasmus university. However, participants who prefer to stay at Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark Hotel can reserve a room directly through their website by clicking on the icon below:
VISA Invitation Letters
For a visit to the Netherlands lasting up to 90 days, tourists/conference attendees from about 60 countries (including most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, and Japan) only need a valid passport. However, nationals of most other countries need a Schengen visa, named after the Schengen Agreement that eliminated passport controls between 26 EU member states.For those who do need a visa, one requirement for the visa application process is an official invitation letter to the GCONSM'19 event.
Participants who need an official invitation letter for the visa application process can request one using the form below.
However, please note that the GCONSM'19 organizing committee is obliged to issue invitation letters ONLY to the following Individuals:

-Paper presenters who have paid their registration fee in full

2nd ICOBM : Le Chateau Lambousa, Cyprus
The second ICOBM event (ICOBM'17) was held between 15-16 November, 2017 at the Le Chateau Lambousa Hotel, Cyprus. It hosted and provided networking opportunities for participants from over 20 countries.
1st ICOBM : Hilton Hotel, Izmir Turkey
The first ICBM event was held between 5-7 June, 2013 at the Hilton Hotel, Izmir, Turkey. It hosted and provided networking opportunities for over 200 participants from over 30 countries.
